I am a lifelong Alaskan born and raised, other than eleven years out of state starting my family. I have been with the Municipality since 2007, and before that with the Anchorage School District for four years. I currently work in Current Planning as a Senior Planner. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University Idaho in December of 2021 after starting that journey almost 30 years ago. Before being elected as AMEA President, I served as a Board Member.
